Classes start December 14th, 2021. Limited to 8 students!

Each class will meet for one hour sessions over ten consecutive weeks.

Our beginner course for adults is perfect for anyone who wants to learn and improve at chess! It starts from the rules, making it an ideal introduction even for brand new players. We discuss the origins of the game and how the pieces evolved. After that, the class moves into basic principles, standard tactics, simple endgames, and even the strategy of the middlegame. All players will finish the class with a solid understanding of chess fundamentals, and the ability to successfully handle a game from beginning to end.

In 10 weeks, students will learn about:

Classes are on Mondays from 7-8 PM. The first session is December 14th. The price of the course is $350 total. We look forward to exploring the world of chess together!
